The story
Brote is a project founded by Francisco Labbé, an engineer with over 10 years in software development and administrator of Diario El Día — a 100+ year old newspaper from Chile's Coquimbo Region.
We chose to build from Coquimbo because we saw regional SMBs losing sales by not answering WhatsApp 24/7. AI is available, but the setup was expensive, slow, and built for large enterprise. Brote is the accessible version: 15 minutes, no consultant, no prompt writing, with native integrations to Shopify, Mercado Pago and Google Calendar.
We launched Brote 1.0 to production after months of validated pilots. We grow with LATAM SMBs that want real results — we don't scale to 1,500 disconnected customers; we prioritize quality, close support, and verifiable outcomes.
